I can’t imagine a better country for the couple to visit – where else do you get such breathtaking scenery, friendly people, same-sex marriages, free healthcare, a stable financial system, fresh maple syrup, smoked salmon, hockey..the list goes on. Hopefully, the couple will also get a chance to sample poutine, a French Canadian delicacy that consists of fries, gravy and cheese curds. YUM!
The couple will also be taking part in Canada Day celebrations on July 1st. On this day, Canadians typically dress in red and white, watch fireworks and drink a lot of Canadian beer! Can’t you just see the royal couple loving it?

LONDON – Kate Middleton has selected her Royal Wedding Dress. It will be red!
Kate Middleton’s wedding dress designer is Alexander McQueen’s creative director, Sarah Burton. Kate has created a royal crisis by telling Burton that she wants to wear a red wedding dress!
Kate wants the dress to look something like this:
Middleton told WWN that she doesn’t plan on being the “typical Royal bore” and she wants to establish immediately that she will be her own person. Ergo, she will be wearing red on her wedding day.
The 36-yeard-old Burton designed the red dress that First Lady Michelle Obama caused a stir a State Dinner for Chinese president Hu Jintao in January. The dress was also red.
Burton’s work first caught the royal bride-to-be’s eye in 2005 when she created an off-the-shoulder wedding dress for Sara Buys, a fashion journalist married to Tom Parker-Bowles, the son of her future stepmother-in-law, the Duchess of Cornwall.
The Royal Family, particularly Queen Elizabeth, are livid that Kate would dare wear a red dress to her wedding. “Queen Elizabeth had a royal row with Kate over the weekend. Many in the room actually thought that the Queen might slap Kate,” said one Royal insider.

Prince William let Kate Middleton pick the wedding cake for the Royal Wedding Cake. Kate consulted with her mother, Carole Middleton, and they selected a Dukan Diet Cake – The Orange Yoghurt Cake – to be served at the Royal Wedding on April 29th.
There were rumors in the last two days that Fiona Cairns, famous for her fruitcakes and celebrity client list, was awarded the honor to bake the royal wedding cake. She was excited at first until Carole Middleton that the cake had to be a Dukan.
“I was just overwhelmed. I felt privileged,” said Cairns. “But then they told me I had to make that dreadful cake, I got quite depressed.”
But Kate was adamant about using the Dukan Orange Yoghurt Cake. Kate also chose the Royal Cake Topper. She thought it would be a symbol of who would be “wearing the Royal pants” in the royal marriage.
Kate feels so strongly about overseeing the cake making that royal watchers have dubbed her “Bakey Katie.”
Meanwhile, the Prince had an idea as well. He knows that many of his British subjects are struggling financially, so he wants to have some cookies that represent “the little people.” So on every table at the Royal Wedding there will be a box of these cookie

Let's get ready to rumble!! Calvin cancels on Katy!
Katy Perry and Calvin Harris have had a very public bust-up over Twitter after the Flashback star pulled out of her UK shows. Calvin was scheduled to open for Katy’s gigs but cancelled at the last minute after being angered over set arrangements.
The furious I Kissed A Girl singer vented on Twitter, posting: ‘Calvin Harris will NOT be joining in on the fun and has CANCELLED last minute.’
To which Calvin, 27, replied: ‘Sorry to all who wanted to see me with Katy – her team suddenly moved the goalposts and I was to appear on stage with no production.’
Katy didn't believe that this was an adequate excuse, saying: ‘The goalpost seems to be perfectly fine for New Young Pony Club, Yelle, Robyn, Marina & The Diamonds, to name a few...Or how bout Janell Monae and her 16 piece band… It’s fine, I’m used to you cancelling on me, it’s become ur staple!’
Calvin then tried to explain by tweeting: ‘It would have looked s***, sounded s*** - trust me you would have been more disappointed SEEING the show than u are with me cancelling.’
Calvin thought he should compliment her, tweeting: ‘Her show is AWESOME, you’ll have an amazing time without me. (especially w/o me DJing on a cardboard box in front of a pink curtain)
But Calvin’s cancellation seemed to spark fury with Katy Perry fans also, who started sending abusive messages to the DJ.
Calvin retaliated by tweeting: ‘WTF are Katy Perry fans telling me to KILL MYSELF on twitter for? Seriously. I’m a producer making music. Leave me alone please thanks x’
Despite the twit-war, Katy still hit the stage last night at Dublin’s O2 Arena as part of her California Dreams Tour.
The star was mobbed outside her hotel yesterday by fans, with one waiting for Katy to autograph his photo of her. But the singer was no doubt disappointed with his photo choice, as he held onto a copy of the picture that Russell Brand famously posted on Twitter, of Katy without make-up.
