Kate and William Coming to Canada!
Go Canada Go! Prince William and Kate Middleton have chosen their first destination post-wedding! The newlyweds will be traveling to Canada from late June through July. The couple received an official invitation from the Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
I can’t imagine a better country for the couple to visit – where else do you get such breathtaking scenery, friendly people, same-sex marriages, free healthcare, a stable financial system, fresh maple syrup, smoked salmon, hockey..the list goes on. Hopefully, the couple will also get a chance to sample poutine, a French Canadian delicacy that consists of fries, gravy and cheese curds. YUM!
The couple will also be taking part in Canada Day celebrations on July 1st. On this day, Canadians typically dress in red and white, watch fireworks and drink a lot of Canadian beer! Can’t you just see the royal couple loving it?
